About the producer

Château Haut Nadeau, a family-owned estate since 1945, is located in Targon, in the heart of the Entre-deux-Mers. Since 1992, it has been managed by Patrick Audouit, an oenologist by training, who continues to uphold the family’s know-how. The 15-hectare vineyard, in the Bordeaux Supérieur appellation, is carefully cultivated to express both the richness of the terroir and the typicity of the grape varieties. Combining tradition and modernity, the estate practices a rigorous and environmentally respectful viticulture, with a focus on quality and the pure expression of fruit.

Wine growing / wine making

15 hectares of vineyards. Average vine age of 25 years. Clay / limestone and clay/sandy soils. Mechanical and manual harvest. Fermentation in temperature-controlled concrete and stainless steel vats.

Tasting notes

The colour is an intense, brilliant purple. The nose reveals aromas of ripe red and black fruits, offering beautiful aromatic intensity. On the palate, the wine is ample and generous, supported by fine concentration and silky tannins. The long, flavourful finish leaves an impression of richness and elegance.
